Devotional Overflow into Śakti
Bhairava
This verse says that when devotion becomes strong enough, a special inner power awakens. Instead of forcing progress, you let heartfelt devotion draw you into a deeper state. The practice is to love the divine so fully that your whole being is transformed by it.
भक्त्युद्रेकावद्वरिस्य यादृशी जायते मवत् । सा शवि् शाङ्करी वनत्यं भियेत्तां तत् वशि् ॥ १२१ ॥
bhaktyudrekāvadvarisya yādṛśī jāyate mavat | sā śaviḥ śāṅkarī vanatyaṃ bhiyettāṃ tat vaśiḥ || 121 ||
Translation
As that state arises from an overflow of devotion, so does the power of Śaṅkarī become established; by that one becomes governed by that power.
Use intense devotion to let the divine power of consciousness arise and take over the practitioner.
