Verse 73Nonduality

Identity with Tasted Experience

Bhairava

Here the practice is to let a balanced feeling of pleasure fill you so evenly that there is no sense of you here and the experience over there. It is like being completely immersed in warm water and forgetting the edge of your body. That immersion is the point.

वगतावदविषयास्वादासमसौख्यैकतात्मन् । योवगनस्तन्मयत्वेन मनोरूढेस् तदात्मता ॥ ७३ ॥

gatādi-viṣayāsvāda-samasaukhyaikatātman | yoginaḥ tanmayatvena manoruḍheḥ tadātmatā || 73 ||

Translation

For the yogin whose self is unified in the equal happiness of tasting the objects of the senses, when the mind ascends into that state through identification, there is oneness with that reality.

Let evenly pervading pleasure dissolve the sense of separateness until you become one with the experienced state.
