Verse 68Awareness
Joy in the Interval
Bhairava
Bring attention to the center of the chest and let the mind sink there softly. Or simply feel the body full of breath and let that fullness become your focus. Either way, the result is a quiet joy mixed with clear presence.
िह्नेविधषस्य मध्ये तु वचत्तं सुखमयं वक्षपेत् । केिलं िायुपूणं वा स्मरानन्देन युज्यते ॥ ६८ ॥
hṛdaye dvividhasya madhye tu cittaṃ sukhamayaṃ kṣipet | kevalaṃ vāyupūrṇaṃ vā smarānandena yujyate || 68 ||
Translation
In the middle of the twofold heart, one should cast the mind into bliss. Or, being filled only with breath, one becomes joined with blissful remembrance.
The verse teaches placing the mind in the heart-center or in breath-filled fullness so that blissful awareness arises.
