Verse 63Visualization
The World as Conscious Body
Bhairava
Instead of seeing your body as ordinary matter, try feeling it as made of awareness itself. You can also expand that feeling to the whole world. When you hold this vision steadily, a sense of deep awakening can arise.
सिं देहं चिन्मयं हि जगद्वा परिभावयेत् । युगपन्निविधकल्पेन मनसा परमोदयः ॥ ६३ ॥
sīṃ dehaṃ cinmayaṃ hi jagadvā paribhāvayet | yugapannividhaकल्पena manasa paramaodayaḥ || 63 ||
Translation
One should imagine that the body is made of consciousness, or that the world is [made of consciousness]. Through a mind held in twofold-but-simultaneous कल्पना (imagination/conception), supreme awakening arises.
The verse asks the practitioner to perceive body and world as nothing but consciousness, which leads to profound awakening.
