Verse 37Dissolution
Bindu Dissolution at the Heart
Bhairava
This verse points to a tiny inner focal point that appears from subtle movement in awareness. You keep your attention on it at the heart, or at a luminous inner spot, until it naturally dissolves. When it dissolves, the mind sinks into quiet absorption.
धामान्त् क्षोभसम्भूतसूक्ष्माविवतलकाकृवतम् । विन्दुं वशखान्ते हृदये लयान्ते ध्यायतो लय् ॥ ३७ ॥
dhāmāntāḥ kṣobha-sambhūta-sūkṣmāviṭa-lakākṛtim | binduṃ śaśākhānte hṛdaye layānte dhyāyato layaḥ || 37 ||
Translation
Meditating, at the end of the heart and at the end of the moon-disk, on the bindu as a subtle form born from inner agitation, dissolution is attained.
Contemplate the subtle bindu until it dissolves into heart-centered absorption.
