Renounce All, Keep the Steady Treasure
Bhairava
Bhairava tells Devi to let go of everything else and hold to what is truly stable. This is like dropping many noisy toys to keep one jewel that never loses its value. The point is to trust the one thing that does not change.
विज्ञानभैरव तन्त्रम् सिधमेतत्पवरत्यज्य ग्राह्यमेतन्मृगेक्षणे । वकमेवभरवस्थरैदेवि वस्थरं परवमदं धनम् ॥ १६० ॥
vijñānabhairava tantram | sarvam etat parityajya grāhyam etan mṛgekṣaṇe | kimeva bhairava-sthairair devi sthiraṃ param idaṃ dhanam || 160 ||
Translation
Abandon all this and take up this, O deer-eyed one. For what indeed is there that is more lasting, O Goddess, than this stable supreme treasure of Bhairava?
He urges complete renunciation of lesser concerns in favor of the one enduring treasure of Bhairava-awareness.
