Self-Immersion in Free Bliss
Bhairava
You do not have to manufacture your true self; it is already there as a free, blissful awareness. The practice is to sink into it again and again, like washing off dust to reveal something that was never damaged. This is not about changing yourself, but recognizing what you already are.
स्वतन्त्रानन्दविज्ञानसारः स्वात्मा हि सिद्धः । आवेशनं तत्स्वरूपे स्वात्मन् स्नानमीवरतम् ॥ १५२ ॥
svatantrānanda-vijñāna-sāraḥ svātmā hi siddhaḥ | āveśanaṃ tat-svarūpe svātman snānam īvaratam || 152 ||
Translation
The self is indeed सिद्ध as the essence of independent bliss-consciousness. Immersion in that own-nature is the supreme bathing of oneself.
He teaches that the true self is already accomplished as free consciousness-bliss, and practice is entering that nature directly.
