Verse 126Nonduality
Beyond Attraction and Aversion
Bhairava
This verse says not to feed either liking or dislike. If you stop pushing and pulling, a deeper stillness opens up. In that stillness, you can sense a larger reality that was hidden by your reactions.
न द्वेषं भाियेत्क्वावप न रागं भाियेत्क्ववचत् । रागद्वेषविवनमुधिौ मध्ये ब्रह्म प्रसपधवत ॥ १२६ ॥
na dveṣaṃ bhāvayet kvāpi na rāgaṃ bhāvayet kvacit | rāgadveṣavininmuktau madhye brahma prasarpati || 126 ||
Translation
One should not foster aversion anywhere, nor foster attachment anywhere; when free from attachment and aversion, Brahman expands in the middle.
Release both craving and rejection so the middle state of Brahman can reveal itself.
