Verse 128Space
Dissolving into Sky-like Space
Bhairava
This verse suggests looking into open space and letting the mind merge with its vastness. Then, instead of staying fixed on objects, you enter a more open state with no boundaries. It is like gazing into the sky until the mind becomes sky-like too.
वनत्ये वनराश्रये शून्ये व्यापके कलनोविते । िाह्याकाशे मनः कृत्वा वनराकाशं समाविशेत् ॥ १२८ ॥
nitye nirāśraye śūnye vyāpake kalanodite | bāhyākāśe manaḥ kṛtvā nirākāśaṃ samāviśet || 128 ||
Translation
In the eternal, unsupported, empty, all-pervading, and manifestly luminous, placing the mind in external space, one should enter into spacelessness.
Use the vastness of outer space as a doorway to realize a boundless inner space beyond all reference points.
