Seeing Mind Everywhere
Bhairava
This verse says that wherever your mind wanders, you are still inside the same vast awareness. There is no place outside consciousness, whether the thought feels inward or outward. This can help you stop feeling that you must chase spiritual experience somewhere else.
यि यि मनो यावत िाह्ये िाभ्यन्तरेऽवप वा । ति ति वशिािास्था व्यापकत्वात्क्व यास्यवत ॥ ११६ ॥
yatra yatra mano yāvat bāhye nābhyantare api vā | tatra tatra śivāvasthā vyāpakatvāt kva yāsyati || 116 ||
Translation
Wherever the mind goes, outside or also within, there is the state of Śiva; because of its all-pervasiveness, where could it go?
Recognize that Śiva-consciousness pervades every mental movement, leaving nowhere outside it to go.
