Bhairava Grants the Inquiry
Bhairava
Bhairava responds kindly and says her question is good. He asks for grace to clear up confusion and praises her for asking about the heart of the teaching. This is like a teacher saying, “Yes, you’ve asked exactly the right thing.”
प्रसादं कुरु मे नाथ विशेषं विवि संशयम् । विज्ञानभैरव तन्त्रम् साधु साधु त्वया पृष्टं तन्त्रसारवमदं प्रिये ॥ ७ ॥
prasādaṃ kuru me nātha viśeṣeṇa vimiśaṃ śamam | vijñānabhairava-tantram | sādhu sādhu tvayā pṛṣṭaṃ tantra-sāram idaṃ priye || 7 ||
Translation
Lord, bestow your grace upon me; especially still this confusion and doubt. Well done, well done—dear one, you have asked about the essence of the Tantra.
Bhairava blesses Devi’s question and confirms that she has asked the central issue.
