Verse 113Visualization
Gazing with Unblinking Eyes
Bhairava
Here Bhairava says that if the eyes stop moving and become perfectly steady, the mind can also become steady. This is not about staring hard, but about resting in a quiet, unblinking gaze. That calm can open into freedom right away.
विज्ञानभैरव तन्त्रम् सम्प्रदायवममं देवि शृणु सम्यविदाम्यहम् । कैवल्यं जायते सद्यो नेत्रयोः स्तब्धमात्रयोः ॥ ११३ ॥
vijñānabhairava tantram saṃpradāyam imaṃ devi śṛṇu samyak vadāmy aham | kaivalyaṃ jāyate sadyo netrayoḥ stabdhamātrayor || 113 ||
Translation
Devi, listen well to this tradition I now teach: liberation arises at once when the eyes become completely still.
Fix the eyes in unmoving stillness so that immediate liberation can arise.
