Verse 34Awareness

Gaze into the Crown Void

Bhairava

Here the practice is very simple: sit quietly, close your eyes, and keep your attention steady. Instead of letting the mind wander, aim it toward the deepest possible sense of presence. With patience, that steady attention itself becomes the path.

kapālāntam adhono nyasya tiṣṭhan mīlitalocanaḥ | krameṇa manaso dārḍhyāt lakṣayet lakṣyam uttamam || 34 ||

Translation

Placing the lower part of the skull beneath and remaining with closed eyes, one should gradually, through the firmness of mind, direct attention to the supreme aim.

Stabilize the mind and inwardly aim at the highest reality while keeping the body still and the eyes closed.
