Verse 26Nonduality
Middle Beyond Motion and Rest
Bhairava
The verse tells you not to keep running outward or sinking inward. There is a middle place of balance where the mind stops splitting the world into inside and outside. In that middle, awareness can feel spacious and clear.
विज्ञानभैरव तन्त्रम् न व्रजेन्न विशेच्छविमधरुद्रूपा विकावसते । वनविधकल्पतया मध्ये तया भैरवरूपता ॥ २६ ॥
na vrajed na viśec chivam adhvraudrūpa-virājate | vana-vidhikalpatayā madhye tayā bhairavarūpatā || 26 ||
Translation
One should neither go out nor enter; Śiva shines in the form of Rudra. By the imagination of the forest-like course, in the middle there is Bhairava’s form.
Do not move toward either outer pursuit or inner fixation; rest in the middle where Bhairava appears.
