Steadying the Mind in Desire or Knowledge
Bhairava
If a strong desire or a clear thought appears, don’t automatically push it away. Instead, rest your attention in it without getting lost. With a calm and steady mind, you can see more deeply into what it really is.

Translation
When desire or knowledge has arisen, one should place the mind there; through purification of the Self and one-pointedness, there is then perception of the reality of the principle.
Use either desire or knowing itself as the focus for one-pointed awareness, until truth is directly seen.
