Entering Śakti to Become Śiva
Bhairava
This verse says that if you settle into the living energy of experience without splitting it up, your mind can become quiet and transparent. In that undivided state, you recognize yourself as Śiva, not as a separate little self. It is like sinking into the ocean and discovering you were never outside it.
विज्ञानभैरव तन्त्रम् शक्त्यिस्थाप्रविष्टस्य वनविधभागेन भावना । तदासौ वशिरूपी स्यात् शैिी मुखवमहोच्यते ॥ २० ॥
śaktyavasthāpraviṣṭasya nirvibhāgena bhāvanā | tadāsau śivarūpī syāt śaivī mukham ihocyate || 20 ||
Translation
For one who has entered the state of Śakti, contemplation without division arises; then that one becomes of Śiva's nature. This is here called the Śaiva entry-point.
Show that by entering undivided contemplative absorption in śakti, the practitioner realizes Śiva-nature.
