Worship in Infinite Space

Bhairava

This verse says that real worship is not mainly about flowers or objects. The deepest offering is entering a huge inner openness where thoughts settle down. In that openness, the feeling of separation melts away.

विज्ञानभैरव तन्त्रम् पूजा नाम न पुष्पाद्यैर्यथा मवत्यते दृढा । वनविधकल्पे महाव्योमि सा पूजा ह्यद्राल्लयः ॥ १४७ ॥

vijñānabhairava tantram pūjā nāma na puṣpādyair yathā manyate dṛḍhā | nivikalpe mahāvyome sā pūjā hy adhrāl layaḥ || 147 ||

Translation

Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra. Worship is not, as it is commonly thought, with flowers and the like. In the great sky of nonconceptual awareness, that alone is worship; there is truly dissolution into the supportless.

The verse teaches that true worship is absorption in vast, thought-free awareness rather than external offerings.
