Meditation on the Sky-Like Self
Bhairava
Imagine your true self is like the open sky: vast, clear, and unbroken. If you stop clinging to thoughts and labels, that inner openness becomes obvious. In that openness, something deeper than ordinary thinking shines forth.
व्योमाकारं स्वमात्मानम् ध्यायेवद्दवग्भरनािृतम् । निराश्रया चित्त् शवि् स्वरूपं दशधयेत्तदा ॥ ९२ ॥
vyomākāraṃ svam ātmānam dhyāyed ākāśabharaṇāt | nirāśrayā citte śaktiḥ svarūpaṃ darśayettadā || 92 ||
Translation
One should meditate on one’s own Self as sky-like, filled with space; when the mind is without support, the power reveals its own nature.
Contemplate the self as limitless space so the mind can become empty and reveal its true power.
